Compliance program
Our protective measures are based on the guidelines given within the Czech legislature, particularly in the Act on Criminal Liability of Legal Persons and Procedure against them, as amended. We have therefore built up a set of interdependent and enforced measures.
When creating, implementing and subsequently operating our Compliance Program within the Organization, we based it on our steadfast belief that any action that may damage the company’s reputation and thus negatively affect its position on the market as a competitor in the context of economic competition is considered extremely undesirable.
Code of Conduct (Business Conduct Guidelines)
The Code of Conduct is one of the most important documents of the established Compliance Program within the Company. Its purpose is to define and comply with generally accepted ethical principles, especially in the areas of business, customer and partner relations, to eschew infringement of any law and preclude any cause which may give rise to the company’s criminal liability risks.
Ethics Line
We are constantly making every effort to keep all our activities transparent and also to prevent unethical, fraudulent activities or other crimes from being committed by persons not only in relation to ourselves.
To this end, an Ethics Line has been set up by decision of the company’s senior management to allow anonymous submissions of the Reports of such conduct appearing to the notifier:
– in violation of legal regulations (laws, decrees, …)
– contrary to the company’s internal standards (directives, policies, orders,…)
– or drawing attention to unethical behaviour in connection with the Company
– or directly proposing improvement measures
We support and greatly appreciate any complete and truthful submission of information by any person, pointing out deviations from the adopted rules of ethical conduct and compliance, which cannot perhaps be communicated directly for various reasons.
